Review of Las Vegas Recovery Center
Discover your road to recovery. That’s the very appropriate tagline of Las Vegas Recovery Center (LVRC), and having just recently been granted an on-site tour of the vast campus and associated resources, we agree: for many, the road to recovery runs right through the desert.
Much like a beautiful desert rose; LVRC provides a beautiful oasis of hope and results for those struggling with addictions to drugs and alcohol, as well as all the associated issues including chronic pain and strained relationships. Located just minutes away from the Las Vegas Strip, LVRC’s campus provides comprehensive services including medical detox, inpatient rehabilitation and residential programming, pain recovery as well as PHP, IOP, OP, and family renewal.
Each program has a distinct approach, and while they all share a campus, dining facilities, housing, and amenities – there’s no cookie cutter approach at LVRC. Every client is given a unique recovery plan based upon his or her specific needs. This is one of the keys to the overall success of the programs offered, we believe.
LVRC places a high priority on their Chronic Pain Recovery programs, and they are seeing good results as they face the country’s opioid crisis head-on. Dr. Mel Pohl “is an internationally renowned physician and expert in the treatment of substance use disorder and chronic pain.” From detox to inpatient care and all the way through to outpatient care, they promote an abstinence-based approach and provide ongoing personal strategies to help you manage your pain moving forward.
We very much enjoyed our time with Las Vegas Recovery Center, and will not hesitate to refer clients in their direction. We’d like to offer special thanks to the Marketing Director, Amy Murdoch for lining up our tour of the facilities and wonderful lunch.
